Trucks looks stupid with a rake. Its not a 60's muscle car. For a avid outdoorsman that actually take their truck off road. It adds a couple inches of ground clearance in the front.

higher clearance and the ability to fit bigger than stock tires. IMHO, if you're paying that kind of money for a 4x4, you want it to look somewhat like a truck, not a street car. Leveling kit and a little bit bigger tire accomplishes that without looking douchy like w a 6 inch lift kit.
Had one on my f150....no problems what so ever.
