I usually run Seafoam through my intake manifold, crankcase, and gas tank a few days before an oil change. So once it cleans up all the crap and it settles, it comes out with all the old oil in the oil pan.

I run the same stuff in my diesel, lawnmower, 4-wheelers, ect...and have never had a problem.

On a diesel.
Fill new fuel filter with seafoam. run until starts smoking white smoke.
Let sit atleast a couple of hours.
Ive done multiple 7.3s that had a clogged injector and this fixed it.
The only problems I've seen with it were people mixing too much in small two strokes.
And I've used it for about 25 years
