Everyone who says this is a "the players are sick of Miles" issue are literally numb in the brain. Wanna know why they leave?

Michael Ford was a 3rd string tailback and returned kicks for LSU. He went undrafted. The kid made HALF A MILLION DOLLARS this past year. Have any of y'all ever made 500k a year? I know I haven't. How about Brad wing? Also went undrafted, also making 400k. Spencer Ware? On IR but still making around half a million. Bennie Logan got drafted in the EARLY THIRD ROUND, and makes about 600k. It's the CBA. Nothing more nothing less.

I heard it put this way, imagine you're in law school and a prestigious firm comes to you your junior year and says, "why don't you just skip your senior year? If somebody is better or you don't cut it we'll fire you, but we will offer you 500,000$ to come to work right now." How many LSU law students would stay in school. NOT FRICKIN ONE!

And I don't blame the kids one iota.

I understand with what you are saying mattwells. My counter point is that the money will still be there. Why not wait a year? Enjoy the unbelievable life of a college football player (if you will be a late round pick). While you make your money sooner, it also means you will be retired from the nfl sooner. Most will be done after 3 or 4 seasons.
