I haven't seen foyle's war, but it doesn't get any better than Sherlock. I'd start there. I rewatched them recently and enjoyed them just as much the second time. Enjoy.

Afterlife (if you can find it...good show but hard to find. I had to download them)
CRACKER! Great show with Hagrid in the lead. Great preformance.

EXCELLENT show

Michael Kitchen is seriously one of the best actors I have ever seen on TV.

educate yourself a little about the context of what was going on in England during the war and you'll enjoy this show even more
