The second issue is the selection bias. You start with the presumption that what has been done is the best and then you go back and find stats to prove it. It is using nominal numbers like a drunk uses a light pole--for support, not illumination. ETA: That isn't to say that I don't appreciate the OP's post and the post that precedes my first post in this thread. Both contain great information, I just think that some context is warranted to understand exactly what we are looking at.
