So when do the NFL defections start becoming official?

Unfortunately, Hill gone.
I see no reason after yesterday to be positive about anyone staying that could go (e.g. Hill, Ferguson, A. Johnson, Landry, Beckham, etc.).
When is their last day to declare? Any reason those that know they're going don't say so immediately now that the bowl is over?

Not sure I like the term "defection". These kids didnt come to LSU to become scholars. They came to fulfill their dream of playing in the NFL. I say congrats and

These kids have a chance to play in the NFL. If they are ready and will be drafted high, then they need to go. Thanks for the memories and they will always be a Tiger.

That's fantastic. I wouldn't call getting a degree from LSU being a "scholar", but whatever...set the bar low.
