What year f150?
If you have sync adding a headunit/sub isn't as easy an it would normally be.
All the signals are sent digitally from the stock headunit to an amp under the console. Nowhere to grab an audio signal near the headunit
And I have a jl 10 + the stock 8" in my f150, and the 10 is way more than enough
