In defense of the EJ game....They (ej) threw one pass the entire game to a running back out of the backfield. Hootie was in on a few tackles during the game if I recall.
When NHS went to the straight T formation in the second half, Hootie was a lead blocker on some plays. Dude went threw the hole with his arms extended like a WR doing a shield block. Not something I expected out of a 6'2, 215 lb athlete. Didn't seem to like contact.

This stuff is getting ridiculous. All of this re-evaluation by some of this people happened just a few days after the kid committed to Bama over LSU. Color me shocked that some LSU fans saw the game and the kid magically became "overrated" and "soft", while also proving 2 years of scouting was meaningless because of 1 game.

Hootie is an exceptional athlete that has a lot of promise at both the safety and linebacker positions. LSU would be lucky to get him. Sure Adams may be a better prospect for LSU's system right now, but to act like LSU won't take this young man simply because of one "bad" game is ridiculous.

Ponamsky sounds like a butt-hurt fool that continually has shown to be unreliable in recruiting news when it comes to toss up players. Plain and simple. Ignore anything he says for the most part and let people that actually are good at recruiting news in this day and age actually do work.
