I'm currently dealing with the same exact thing.
I'm not getting surgery. Sometimes the side effects from surgery are worse than the pain pre-op. I'd get a few consultations, then make an informed decision.

Yea. My lower back is fubar. I've done everything possible except going under the knife. That will be the resort after my last resort.
