See, I don't get why you care so much. If you don't like what you see there, then just don't go there.

I believe that the "private" boards were started to give the other schools a place where they could go so that they would drift away from The Rant and other "LSU" boards. And I believe it has been successful.

The fact is, TD is an open message board and we have always been accepting of other fans from other schools (to a point). By its very nature, TD will always have differing opinions, some you agree with and some you don't, to monitor the site based on the wants and desires of a few is a poor way to do business.

Lastly, as I posted somewhere on here a couple of weeks ago, MY opinion on the "private" boards is that there are far fewer people that have access to those boards, than those who can access the LSU boards, so going back and giving private entry to all of the "LSU" fans...(how would we blindly determine that anyway...I mean, it's not like you could go off of school icon. People would get left out who were LSU fans, then we'd have to move people around...it be a nightmare)...and taking away access from all of the other schools would be impractical.

My best advise would be to learn to live with opposing views of thought. If they cross the line, then RA them, if not, then attempt to join them in a lively, meaningful discussion.
