Yet, somehow a deep dysfunction pervades the culture of the team translating into several unexpected losses a year.

LOL!!! I think it means the Old Piss loss, but I could be wrong....

In 2005, we nearly lost to a 4-7 Arkansas team scraping out with a 19-17 win on a lucky goal-line stand.

In 2006, a very good LSU team nearly lost to a 3-8 Ed Orgeron Ole Miss squad.

In 2007, we lost to two crap opponents Kentucky and Arkansas.

2010 - a very good LSU team again scrapes out a win versus a crap Ole Miss team in the last minute of the game.

2011 - was the (1) season under Miles' watch in which we disposed off all inferior competition.

Roid rage? My gosh, you take the intranets serious.

I don't think trading spots for "x" number of teams is what's at play here. I think some (not all) are going to gripe no matter who the coach is, and how the team is performing.

Some look at Miles and think he under performs as a coach, given the talent level at LSU. I mean, look at NFL rosters. The talent level that has come through LSU (under his watch) is ridiculous. Some think that talent is mismanaged or not held fully accountable, simply put.

Do I think Miles should be fired? Absolutely not. How could you fire him? You can't, given the wins/losses. As stated earlier, he's a decent coach that lands superior talent. Most of the time talent level trumps fair coaching abilities (Gene Chizik - Cam Newton).
