That is how you lead. The season might not have met the teams expectations, but Mett is still out there cheering on his teammates after a season and college career ending injury..the man is a leader.

This is a man who truly cares about his team. Watching him writhe on the ground in pain at the end of the Alabama game made me sick to my stomach more so than 1/9. Because he cared. JJ to me never seemed to care about his teammates or LSU. He reeked of selfishness.
I had a friend tell me his friends saw him at Bogie's before the beginning of last season and told him that we were counting on him and he just looked at the floor with a pensive demeanor and said "I know" and that was it.
Juxtapose his frustration at the Alabama game with his jubilation at the end of this game.
His tenure has been filled with ups and downs. But Cam coached him to where he needs to be. LSU benefited from him. He benefited from LSU. He will find success in the next level. We were thankful to have him for the short time he was here. And he will be truly missed. I would have loved to see a NC under his stead, but his example will emanate through the players in to next season.
You can tell he cares about his teammates and LSU. A passionate leader. Someone that would be an asset to any organization.

Way to go Zach and way to go Jennings. Both great TIgers.
