Hard to argue with this. ^^^^
J-frame revolvers just don't hold much ammo, and very few people ever really practice with them because it's not much fun (i.e. it hurts after about 40-50 rounds)
.380's are marginal for SD, unless you can shoot extremely well, while some other dude (or dudes, if he brought his home boyz with him) is//are trying to kill you.
I also agree with most of TOTH's post -- except that (IMHO) the PM9 is easily carryable (is that a word ?) in one's pocket. Heck, I carry my 9mm Shield as a BUG, in a pocket.
