Yeah, no. I don't think that would translate well to the SEC. Big 12, probably, but not here. I think I actually heard him say in another interview that a college AD would be crazy to hire him as a coach and let him run his style of play.

people get too hung up on what will or won't work in the SEC. the only real constant for the teams on top is talent on the lines up front, other than that we've seen spread offenses, power running, pro style, single wing, and option focused offenses(spread option but it's that zone read option shite still) all have success when others said you can't do that in the SEC.

of course they would, any AD that would hire a highschool football coach to take over a college coaching job with a completely different approach to the game is obviously crazy. But lots of people are crazy and have success because of it.
