I understood the discussion. Unlike you, I focused on the "Realistic Expectations" part. You seem to want to equate your "standards" to your expectations. They aren't the same. LSU should aspire to a conference championship every year. If they don't we have a problem. But is it realistic to expect a conference title 3 times a decade, with the facilities, Louisiana talent pool, etc., that we have? Nope. There are far too many variables to make such an expectation realistic. The last ten years has created an arrogant fan base here and has, for the weak minded, created unrealistic expectations for success, given the conference we are in. Demanding 3 conference titles each decade sets a standard that nobody in the country can meet. You and those like you have become the equivalent of the Alabama fan base, without the national titles. That's what makes you a dumbass.
