No coach finished at LSU, more than 2 seasons, with a better winning percentage than Miles. So every coach floundered the whole time? Except Dietzel in '58 and Saban in '03?

He was "floundering" after 2008 and 2009, don't you agree? Then he gets 13 wins in 2011 - that was his best season and it was 2 years ago.

Chavis' past performance (not reflected in 2013) suggests he will field a better product in 2014. Cameron (assuming he stays) will have had another full year in the system.

We will have a new quarterback and unproven receivers. We will have a freshman running back. However, the team, as a whole, will be more experienced in 2014 than 2013, particularly on defense.
