You're welcome. Hasn't it been about "when Saban leaves BAMA" for 7 years now.
quote:That's not the reason for his joy. That was the point of my whole thread. He's beaten us many times and didn't even show that, but he's never destroyed us. Last night he did, that's why he's happy.
You should take it as a compliment that the man who is almost robotic shows some human emotion because he beat a tough opponent he respects.

I agree. His reaction seemed like someone who just proved something to himself that he may have questioned before. I have a lot of respect for Saban as a college football coach, but he comes off as a narcissist sometimes with the lack of genuine complimentary reactions for his players following past victories. Last night he literally beat the program that he gave a huge head-start.
Also I fear it has a lot to do with recruiting. He is dismantling LSU's elite status and eliminating what was his biggest threat in the West. No other SEC west program even has the potential to compete on a long term basis. AU will lose the recruiting battle to Bama most of the time in state, Arkansas doesn't have the recruits, A&M will struggle when UTa bounces back, Mississippi schools aren't legit threats. It's scary to think about Saban staying there for another 10 years.
