I love how a well intentioned post with an introspective look at Saban's psyche that's outside of the worldview of the Rant turns into a 3 page 'why we hate Saban" (or not) thread.

I didn't see the coach and his QB hug until this morning on the highlights. No matter how it's spun, it's odd. There is something unique going on there because This wasn't the natty or even the SEC championship. They beat the crap out of another team, the season isn't done and they acted as if there was something special to celebrate. I've never seen him do that before...even after a title.
