2011 LSU played in the NC game.
2012 Had LSU not played prevent defense on that last drive, LSU would have beaten Bama and been in the NC game.

I don't see a trend other than Less doesn't seem to get his team motivated and has clock issues and game management issues and can't speak in complete sentences and, well you get the picture...
