You can keep arguing about demographics, even though I didn't say one word about it. No one is moving their family to NOLA. NOLA isn't a step up from most places. And if I were some kind of dry wall person, then what? Would that make my points somehow unvalid? As it stands I work for a company that was looking to move to a new city, and New Orleans wasn't even considered for exactly the reasons I gave you. Nothing has changed with the crime at all. There are no real businesses here. So enjoy your low quality of life and when you pull your head out of your arse, and wonder why everyone is gone, we went somewhere that doesn't boast about being last in every category and first in crime.
New Orleans is charming because it had culture, it was great. It still has a lot going for it, but people don't want to move here and I certainly don't mind moving elsewhere.
You're a rather foul minded youngster, aren't you?
The data proves you utterly incorrect about people not moving to New Orleans. Wanna make some sort of wager, hotshot?

Foul minded? I've been all over the world. New Orleans is special to me, but it isn't special to your average person. Highest murder rate in the us. Overly high percentage of people on public assistance. I said families weren't moving here, I didn't say people. So tell me, exactly what kind of people are moving here? Alright! Another medical facility? Our economy rocks. Ooh, another casino
How many decrepit liquor stores are on canal st alone very cosmopolitan. New Orleans is better? Slightly, but that doesn't say much when you start from the bottom, and quite frankly the backwards arse local population (5th generation brah!) is precisely why it will continue to be marginally better than St. Louis and Indianapolis. Anytime you mention a problem, people plug their ears and start hurling insults.
NOLA simply cannot compete with dallas, Austin, Phoenix, the Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, New York, Boston, Chicago (crime shithole too), Miami, etc
So link all the forbes articles you want, then go read the census data and realize that you've been fed a spoonful of bullshite.
