While I agree that Jenkins and Harper are missed, especially in run support, how do you back up this statement? Geno Smith was 8/19 for 115 yards and 44 of those came on one quick screen to the outside WR. Bush has played very well in Harper's absence and Abdul-Quddus hasn't done anything wrong.

I get the optimism, but that one particular statement was more of an excuse to me.

they took some pathetic angles on the outside runs. They can't do what jenkins or harper can do in the box

Bush had a terrible game today. Probably his worst as a Saint. Quddus only played a few snaps

Both Bush and IAQ were horrible in run support and it definitely showed today. It hurt the team. The Jets didn't pass much because they didn't need to.
