Please get up and we'll have you seated again within 15 minutes." After two in our group chewed out the pompous manager we left.

Someone put money in their wallets for them to do that move. The manager should have called BS immediately and sat the other people when they could be done. You should have called them and asked to contact the owners of the establishment for personal complaining time.
