Exactly. The whole keep the money in state is a load of crap.

Why does any La school play anyone outside the state? I mean if we want to bitch at LSU about some bullshite like this then apply it across the board .

LSU doesn't owe anything to any La based school. Nor do they owe LSU. Why should LSU pay 300k more to play ULM than another out of state school? To help out the Warhawks?

Keep the money in state really holds up well when thinking thru your intl trade and economics lessons.

If keeping the money in state makes sense, then why not in a city, in a neighbiorhood or your own home. For that matter keep all your cash to yourself. Get the point? Complete bullshite. Based on some illogical well sounding crap to benefit one group

Agree. And ULM is going to get their money from playing Arkansas or Bama and take money from those states. And then ULM turns around and spends that money with out of state vendors.

Keeping the money in state....it doesn't mean what it meant 40 years ago.

LSU pays $300k more to ULM because they are FBS. FCS schools get paid lower guarantees.

I don't have an opinion on the subject but I thought it would bring up an interesting debate.

One would think that these fan bases (SLU, Mcneese, Northwestern and Nicholls St.) are closet LSU fans anyway. Wouldn't it be smart to throw your season ticket holders that graduated from other schools a bone every once in awhile?

Again I could care less but I thought it would be a good debate.
