I'm not familiar with the previous thread at all, but I can tell you my parents just sold their house last week (located in Metairie, LA). My parents are both in their early 60s and there were (at minimum) 4 different potential buyers that literally gave them 4 hours or less to show the house.

That's cool.
If I were in my early 60s I prob wouldn't care either.
Two small kids can take my house from being show able to not showable in just few minutes.
I'm A fan of first impressions... I just want it to be in good shape when they come look.
