Yes, fished them in May. Hooked up every 5-6 casts. fishing a worm very slow. Mixture of all size fish. Had an 8-9 lber on but he came off at the "pontoon". That made landing them tough, that combined with the guide using barbless hooks for "safety" All in all a great time though, a bit pricey, but really fun.

Did it with the kids 2 years ago. Pontoon boat and live bait only on our trip. Plenty of bass, but not worth the money and not much sport in it. I suspect you could arrange a better trip than we had.

Peacock bass is a South Florida thing in the Miami/Lauderdale area. I hear its getting better now as they took a beating in 2009-10 when we got a rare freezing weather spell..
