I really wished that the big 12 would have stayed together with Texas A&M and MIssouri staying in the big 12.

With all due respect, frick that.

My alma mater (A&M) needed a break from texas in the worst way. Rivalry aside, it was an extremely toxic environment that A&M would never have it's best interests looked out for.

MIssouri is not a huge Market and there are a lot of Illinois and Kansas fans in the state.

I live in MO now. There's a much bigger market for SEC football and sports in general than you think. shite, the state basically shut down this weekend with Mizzou/SCAR, the unbeaten Chiefs, and the Cards in the world series.

West Virginia was in a dying Big East and was passed over by the ACC and the SEC. The school didn’t want to get caught without a chair when the music stopped so it jumped. There’s nothing wrong with that. But eventually the distance between Morgantown and its neighbors will become an issue that cannot be overcome.

Just so this is out there, the Big 12 has really tired to help us out with travel. Especially with basketball and sports like that. I cant remember the specifics on how but they have tried at least.

Meh! I think this speaks to Aggie insecurities than it does about the big 12. Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, and Kansas State don't need to have their sister schools look out for them.

I can never see a scenario where Oklahoma State and Michigan State leave their conferences because they feel they are treated badly by OU and UM. TAMU belongs in a Texas based conference with Texas. That's just the way it is. The SEC did not need Aggie.

Mizzou is a double Meh! for the SEC. I mean it's a good school but another Florida school would have been better. It would have locked up the the third biggest state in the country.

I think eventually Texas A&M will fade in the State of Texas and in the SEC. People in Texas who aren't aggies will care more about Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma and Oklahoma State over TAMU. TAMU can't be successful as an SEC outlier in the State of Texas.
