re: Non first round athletes leaving college early to go pro

I think most of the time, or at least in football, the players are told their bodies only have so many years of life in them, and they would rather use those years playing to get paid instead of at the college level, and Im sure they always tell themselves they can go back and get their degree.

As far as basketball goes Idk why those guys who are borderline on even making a team would make the leap, maybe the same reason as a need for money now. Maybe they didn't think they could improve their draft stock enough, who knows.
