Hot n Spicy Chex Mix

I cannot find these anywhere! I remember eating them like crazy when I was a kid. Only flavors I've seen are reduced fat, cheddar, and original.

The Purina company didn't make it as a part its product line years ago. It was an item made at home with recipes that got handed around by the women folk of a town. The majority of them were made with two forms of the cereal and a few with three, and then the other components and seasonings then baked a bit.

Pretzels were not a part of the original mix. The thing that made it such a hit at that time was the ease of producing it for a person to make a batch in accordance with the needs for a cocktail party or similar house hold soiree.
