Wouldn't calling a timeout give more time to set up for the block, as well as save some time for a last gasp LSU drive? With the way the offense was moving the ball in the 4th quarter, LSU had a good chance to get into field goal range. That was an inexcusable error for a major college coach.

Yea, im still not understanding the "saved the TO, to go for the block" excuse...can anyone explain?
