Great song. He is an incredible talent. Was always amazed at how much love he received south of the border.
I need to go back and listen to his stuff. For a lot of these older artists, I am having to re-learn their material. I still have a feel for it, yet the specific memory of songs is not there. It is quite enjoyable relearning though. Almost like hearing it again for the first time. I often get that "holy shite" feeling like when I was a teenager hearing it for the first time.

Why do I say this? There is some deepfound merit, as he predates the coca cola type marketing days.
People heard about Neil Young, from other people. People. Not adverts.
He is very, very respected as an artist, and as well, is the font of concern, when he throws off a major bullshite lp (which you and I know, he´s prone to do, as the dude cannot sit still).

Great tune. For the record, if you want to properly slag Hernán Cortés, please note the spelling of his name (and consequent pronunciation).
Spain in the New World, is akin to the US in the Persian Gulf.
Well meaning, well formed or educated, but NPI (ni puta idea). No fricking clue.

Eclectic in the dictionary, in the New World, could have his photo next to the definition.
The sweet melodies and lyrics, and then how he absolutely mauls the guitar, is amazingly out of this world.
