The current DBs have the speed and talent to be good. It is coverage technique, angles to make tackles, and not being in the correct position\coverage. All the issues above point to coaching.

After watching the film study on TR, you have to ask how could Loston be a 5th year senior and be so lost on his responsibilities?
Either he is dumb as a post or has been coached very poorly.

There seem to be a good number of highly recruited players who really are quite unremarkable: Loston, Freak, Rasco.
