The SECR keeps opening my App Store to download Candy Crush. I QUIT THAT frickING GAME!

Both. there's a blue arrow on ads. You can click it and find out where the ad originated. You should report that finding to the admins, and then you should also go ahead and 'opt out' of that one so you can stop receiving that particular one.
