Vertigo

This one gets lots of love. I like it but it's not my favorite. I like Psycho better.

North By Northwest

I put this one in a separate grouping due to it's comedy overtones combined with suspense/thriller. I love it.

I put The Birds in this catagory too, not that it has comedy overtones, but the bird attack scenes make me laugh even while I'm terrified.

Rope

I still haven't seen Rope! No excuse but needless to say it's on my list.

Another favorite of mine is Marny. The paternalistic and extreme masculine sexuality of Sean Connery's character is amazing to watch in a post-modern setting!

Vertigo is so good. The scene in the Empire Hotel with the neon green and purple.. Hitch was amazing at creating a dream like aura in his films.

NXNW is a favorite for sure, own it and watch it every now and then.

Dial M for Murder and To Catch a Thief would go up there for me too.
