I like it. Every time someone buys some of that gear, money goes to research. And the NFL players wearing it for a month makes the fans and HS/college players buy it.

especially breast cancer

The NFL picking breast cancer as its huge awareness deal is nothing more than trying to appeal to and grow the female fanbase. Its also a "sexier" disease than something like colon, lung, or pancreatic who kill as many or more people.

Similarly with this BS "futbol americano" marketing campaign to hispanic folks.
