re: Based on what you've seen of the defense so far this year, which positions

And for the whole team's needs, in terms of priority, I'll go:
1) C: DLP has been bad, but so have his guards, this can be addressed in mid rounds
2) CB: again, Greer getting older
3) OT: with a deep CB draft, probably should be our first pick. I hope we have a bye (preferably the 1st seed, obviously) locked up heading into week 17 so that we can see him play some. That or Brown missing one game against a bad team
4) S: Bush has been decent enough, but I don't see Jenkins or Harper on the team next year unless they take a very cheap one year deal
5) OG: Evans has been bad, but hurt. He'll bounce back. Grubbs has been a disappointment, and his contract makes him uncuttable next year. Hopefully Evans coming back causes a chain reaction on the inside, which wouldn't shock me in the least.
6) WR: I expect Moore to be a cap casualty next year. Colston is aging and pricey. Meachem is on a one year deal. I like Stills and Toon, though. Kind of feels like a position where you either get a stud in the first round or don't bother drafting one. A cheap, risky, high upside vet (someone like Manningham) could be a good choice.
7) ILB: Hawthorne is wildly inconsistent and Lofton is solid but overpaid (another that can't be cut until 2015). Would only address for depth or if a stud drops to us.
8) RB: PT and Sproles are old. If Kenjon Barner were to drop to us in the 2nd round I would take him and cum everywhere. Still, a position we can wait until 2015 to address.
9) OLB: I'd be happy with Juneyah, Butler, Haralson (cheap re-sign) and Tez.
Wouldn't bother with QB or DL unless they were by far best player available.

The safeties are playing a lot better than I'd expect.
Vaccaro effect, no doubt.
But hell, Jenkins is playing better than he has in years.
I do expect Harper to be gone though.
