Phil Robertson was QB at Tech for 2 years right before Bradshaw. Bradshaw was a Freshman and Sophomore when Phil R. started,Bradshaw sat the bench until his Jr.year. Phil quit football after 2 years and Bradshaw took over. I was in Bastrop High those years and remember it well. Phil preferred to Duck hunt and quit. True story. A friend of mine in West Monroe was arse't manager of the old Howard Brothers store in Monroe, before Wal-Mart, and Phi Robertson started selling his duck calls to the Howards store on Diseard and eventually the whole chain to get his start. He wound up selling to everybody. They are worth 47 million dollars and get 20 million a season for the show. The highest rated show on cable in the US, and just getting started with all the new stuff Willie is doing. They are good down to earth people, Christians, and moral. Like me, they graduated from Northeast, but are big diehard LSU fans.
