Once again, teach firearm safety in school
Absolutely. Nothing wrong with teaching safety, when it's a right to possess them. For those opposed, make it an elective and not mandatory. It would likely reduce accidental deaths where people handle them incorrectly. Schools should be partnering with the NRA and like organizations and getting certified instructors teaching students. Firearms without firing pins could be used in schools, and to further the elective, schools could get with gun ranges, and have after hrs credit established as well, under parental consent and supervision of course. It's a win/win for all. Kids learn safety and respect, schools teach more Constitutional Rights, local businesses have future clients.
