What is really amazing is how forward thinking this particular idea was. I just watched a part where they were doing an interview in 99 and talking about getting music on your cell phone, etc, or whatever the device of the future was. This stuff wasn't even on the radar really before these guys did it. Think about that one idea compared to the amount of media available to you on your mobile device now in 2013. It's fricking mind blowing.

oh yeah
the part in the doc where they're like, "how many mp3s do you own?" and one guy is in the 6-7 thousand range and mtv is blown away. i'd say most people have at least 2-3k on their phones or portable music device now and if you don't, you're weird
