It's not the slow drip that's a problem. It's the quality of reporting. The Tulsa Daily is gleefully ripping this thing to shreds, and now ESPN is in on the act. It took their reporters one f'n day to find more evidence than SI did in ten months. That's just damning to SI's quality of work.

This is the angle I've been thing about, credibility of SI's reporting nation wide. What college coach is willingly going to allow his players to be interviewed by SI for any reason? Sure, SI will be at press conferences but I think many coaches will view SI coverage as a net negative. And freeze them out from direct contact, not good for a sports magazine's so called unbiased "journalists."
