If you live in alabama (as some of us are unfortunate to endure) the correct answer is bama. Imagine a state where (on 9/11) remembering 9/11 is a distant second to remembering "the bear".
and if someone calls you out on it they're probably a fckin Auburn fan..

where you never lose - unless you beat yourself.
where if someone doesn't hear what you say they'll say RMFTR instead of "what", "huh", or "come again".
and the only state where "how many national championships has alabama won" will receive a serious answer of 14.
If you live in Florida it's probably Florida
If you live in Texas it's probably A&M.
