Birmingham > Louisiana in terms of beer options.

Grab some Parish if you can. Keep an eye out for their Grand Reserve. It's doubtful they have any left, but maybe you'll get lucky.


Also, look for some Nola brewing options. Nola Irish Channel Stout (not sure if this is being canned or bottled yet), Hopitoulas and Hopzilla if you can find them.

So obviously I am out of touch with the Lafayette beer scene... Never heard of Parish beer. Just looking at the bottle and the beer in a glass reminds me of Chimay. Is it similar? How would you guys describe it?
