Where it gets dicey is differentiating $1,000 gift for signing some balls at a booster's party, and the shady gambler offering $500 for injury information or a couple thousands to miss a few key layups. Policing that could get real sticky, real fast.

I'm against a "salary", but I wouldn't have an issue with making $$$ off of their likeness (I've changed my tune on that recently).
