re: Syfy movies???

Oh man. I have the opening scene playing in my head right now. It's a rainy night on the Mississippi, and an old paddle boat is working his way down her. There can be some kind of party going on in the boat. An old boat captain is at the helm sipping on a tumbler filled with whiskey. We hear the sound of the beaver beating his tale on the water.

The boat crashes into the beaver's damn. People investigate. There can be some witty dialogue that I'm not thinking about right now. Then the beaver attacks quickly destroying the boat. End scene.
