So superman can't use any of his powers? No super strength or flying? Essentially you're saying that superman can't fight Batman because it's like a girl hitting a guy at a bar, all he can really do is cover up and protect himself but if he throws a punch back he's a scumbag. So what are the rules here concerning what superman can or can't do here while not being a scumbag?

not saying that at all. if thats what you took from the discussion, then its either over your head or you simply dont want to have an actual discussion about it.
