Console Features
Game DVR and Twitch TV Integration
The Xbox One constantly records recent gameplay, so players gamers can save any gameplay and share it on Xbox Live or a social network. Additionally, users can use "Upload Studio", which allows players to edit and publish recorded gameplay. Users can also stream gameplay to Twitch TV using the Twitch app and a single voice command.

Game DVR captures beautiful clips at 720p 30fps. Your clips are stored in the cloud. You’ll be able to see these clips in the Xbox One Guide, in your own game DVR collection, and when you are looking at gamercards on the system.

TV and Entertainment
The Xbox One includes an HDMI 1.4 input port which can take in signals from other devices such as a cable box, Xbox 360, Apple TV, PS3/4, and more. When a cable box is connected to an Xbox One, users can watch live TV and use Xbox's custom guide overlay (called the OneGuide) to switch channels and find and search for shows. Additionally, users can perform these same operations using voice commands through the Kinect. The OneGuide also features a section for showing "Trending" shows based on what your friends and the Xbox community is watching.
NOTE: The XBox One's HDMI input is known as HDMI Passthrough. You can still use whatever HDMI device is plugged into the Xbox One, even when it is powered off.

Besides featuring Xbox Music and Xbox Video, the Xbox One also supports Skype for cross-game and cross-platform chat as well as Internet Explorer for surfing the web.

Xbox is now the "Official Interactive Content Provider of the NFL", meaning that the Xbox will deliver "an unparallel, integrated fantasy experience on the television". Xbox also has an exclusive partnership with ESPN, allowing for automatic pushed updates on a user's favorite players. Steven Spielberg is producing a live-action Halo show that will be exclusively shown on the Xbox One.

Multi-tasking
Because of the tri-OS architecture, the Xbox One enables instant switching among apps, games, and entertainment. Users can instantaneously change apps using voice commands, so users no longer have to change inputs on their TVs to switch to a different entertainment factor.

Users can now snap two apps next to each other on the green to do two things simultaneously, enabling scenarios such as gaming and skyping at the same time or watching TV and surfing the web on the same screen.

Smart Glass
Microsoft has stated that the Xbox One was designed with SmartGlass in mind, an app which acts as a second screen for the Xbox One. SmartGlass is available on all major mobile platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows Phone) as well as Windows 8 (for tablets, laptops, and desktops), and provides seamless multimedia integration for games and apps.
