I'm with you on this. Based on perception, LSU looked a little slow. Didn't see much from LB's. I thought guys like Kwon, Deibo Jones, Ronnie Feist would step up this year.
On the other hand, LSU outgained TCU, 448-259. The Tigers ran 80 plays to TCU's 54 which was reverse of Clemson in # of plays. It seemed like TCU had more than 259. But here's another key point: LSU 5.6 yds/play vs. TCU 4.8 yds/play. 4.8 too much win 11-12 games against this schedule.

This will be key to a great season. LSU controlling the line of scrimmage. keeps drives going longer and keeps the defense off the field.
