Agree, I re-watched it twice. Once on DVD and once when they re-ran it on that direct tv channel a couple years ago. It was kind of cool to watch an episode once a week every Sunday night for the duration of the series, even after seeing it twice. Going to give it a few more years and I'm sure I'll do it again.

Although it is just speculation at this point, I suspect that out of all of these, regardless of which is ranked "higher" among the greats, The Wire will very likely end up being the most "rewatchable" because of the nature of it - it is a show about processes, rather than outcomes. BB and The Shield are mainly about outcomes and unintended consequences. The Sopranos is somewhere in the middle.
