I know they have some catfish ponds, and you can go catch as much as you want. You have to pay for em by the pound, though.

I've never heard about the dove hunting. I pass right by em everytime I go to our camp at Toledo from LC, and there are big fields around them.

Those are the Mennonite's in DeRidder. I have never heard of the DeRidder Mennonite's letting people dove hunt their fields for money. Pretty much just friends and family.

Did the OP mean DeRidder not DeQuincy? I have never heard of DeQuincy having Mennonite's but I know we have a lot in DeRidder.

This is in between Longville & DeRidder. My dad actually lives on Mennonite Rd. off of hwy 171 about 1/2 mile from those ponds. All the fields around there used to be planted with beans & corn. They would let anyone come out there & hunt doves for free as long as u picked up behind yourselves. I talked to my dad yesterday & he said that most of those fields haven't been planted in several years.
