*MID SEASON(ish) UPDATE* Bookmark for Reference in January: Defensive Prediction

With all the talk about our defense going on, bold predictions being made, and sunshine being pumped, I think it's time we all draw our line in the sand so we can come back at the end of the season and see who knew their shite (or who is better at taking wild arse guesses). For bonus e-cred predict specific stat lines.
Regular Season Individual Predictions:
Through nine games actuals in italics
Sack Leader: Cameron Jordan (14 Sacks)
Sack Leader: Cameron Jordan (6 Sacks - pace for 11)
Tackle Leader: Curtis Lofton (95 Solo, 45 assist, 140 Total)
Tackle Leader: Curtis Lofton (51 Solo, 20 assist, 70 Total)
Interception Leader: Jabari Greer (4 Int) (I don't see us as a particularly ball-hawky team this year. Hope I'm wrong)
Interception Leader: Keenan Lewis (3 Int) (We aren't the 09 ball hawks, as predicted, but we can hang on to the odd errant pass when necessary)
Best Offseason Acquisition: Kenny Vaccaro (although not a stand out in any particular category, I see him bringing a lot of much needed aggression and attitude to our secondary)
Best Offseason Acquisition: Kenny Vaccaro
Defense MVP: Cam Jordan
Defense MVP: Cam Jordan
Worst Defensive Player: I would have said Will Smith, but now...I'll go with Roman Harper. Reason being I don't see him getting as many sacks (because we won't need him to) and that leaves him playing safety...so...yeah...
Worst Defensive Player: Malcolm Jenkins?
Regular Season Team Predictions:
Rank by Yards Allowed: 24
Rank by Yards Allowed: 7 (317 ypg)
Rank by Points Allowed: 16
Rank by Points Allowed: 5 (18.1 ppg)
Rank by Takeaways: 20
Rank by Takeaways: T-5 (+5)
Rank by # of Sacks: 10
Rank by # of Sacks: T-8 (29 total)
Overall 'rank' in Division: 2
Overall 'rank' in Division: 2 (Carolina is a little better on D than we are)
It would seem that our boys on defense are exceeding even our wildest preseason expectations. By now we can confirm it isn't a fluke, it's the real deal genuine thing. Glorious.

I think Jenkins will be worst defensive player.

If we could lock this in now I'd take it, no questions asked.

I hope they're this high but the D just can't hold onto an INT. I'm gonna say 25.

People are being way over critical on the defense. I say they'll be better than people think.
