Your quoting a law you can't cite. All I'm trying to do is educate a guy who wants to become a legal gun owner from becoming soured on the process. If you (or anyone at the shop) could cite the law instead of a blanket "it's the law" then I wouldn't have been here asking the question to begin with. Hell, I can't answer the question (hence starting the thread) and (referring back to the OP) I have tried to educate myself on the matter by contacting my FFL.
